The Fledgling!
A most wonderful pair of late 19th Century Epergne vases, depicting three birds, the mother and one fledgling sitting on one fence whilst the other, a little braver has flown to the other fence…
incredibly naturalistic. The base metal to the stands we believe to be spelter and tin and the glass inserts are removable for cleaning.
A really great little pair of vases and in lovely order throughout.
Dimensions: 7” (18cm) tall x 3.5” (9cm) base diameter x 2.5” (6cm) top glass diameter.
