Really lovely late Victorian breakfront bookcase with adjustable shelves.
One of the nicest breakfronts we’ve had in a while, profusely inlayed and with some unusual veneer work.
In a lovely golden mahogany, cross banded and string inlay decoration to the top, vertical string inlays to the pillared legs.
The middle drawer is veneered in rosewood, satinwood and fruitwood.
Replacement period handles to the two smaller left and right flanked drawers.
Six Adjustable shelves, two of the shelves are period replacements.
